    Default Advertisement stops? recorder

Hi everyone and thank you for being there. I am recording videos which are freely downloadable from TV stations over the internet. Regularly, an advertisement is played prior to the video, but that is all that FreeRecorder seems to record, just the advertisement. It stops recording the moment the advertisement finishes, even though the video continues to be downloaded and played. Just hoping if someone might have a suggestion on how to record the video as well. Many thanks.

Hi Cheryl, thank you for your quick response and concern. On the Windows tool bar it suggests that I am using Freecorder 4 because it offers a "Go to Freecorder 4 Help Page" button, and on my hard drive, the Freecorder History icon says it is version 1.7.1.0. The program that I tried to record this morning was a new medical technology video from http://www.sbs.com.au/ondemand/video/2073982239/Fix-Me . I get a great recording of the advertisement but nothing more after. Hope this helps, Andrew.

The Freecorder Toolbar is our free audio recorder with a few bonus tools like the video history tool and converter. However, it is not a full-featured stream downloader. It works fine for many sites like YouTube, etc. But you may need a full featured stream recorder to get some of the more hard to capture sites. Please try a free demo of our Replay Media Catcher. It will most likely fit your needs.
