Default pause button changes to play and wont work

I decided to pay the £6.95 and upgrade to RVC 5, used all the same settings as i had previously....

however, ive noticed that when im recording and goto pause the pause button changes to PLAY and goes kind of grey and doesnt do anything, meaning the only option is to stop.. if i press the play one it toggles between play and pause without doing anything....

i didnt have this problem before and HOPE it can be fixed because it was the only reason i upgraded.

any ideas on how to fix this???

using windows vista with version 5.4.2

It is not going to work with pause in all formats that you record using our program. This is due to how each format works. The developer is always working on improving features so perhaps in a future update.
