Advice needed

Hi ll,
I've just downloaded the full version of video capture 5 and I seem to have come across an issue I'd not thought about.
I started downloading an hour long video. I didn't want to sit there watching it for the next hour as I had plenty more I had to do on the PC. But when I changed browsers I noticed in the preview panel that it appeared it was recoding the image of my new browser(I'd oviously still left the original browser open.)
Is that it ?
Once you start a recording do you have to leave that browser and website open until it's finished ?

Yes. It is a screen capture program so it is going to capture what it sees on your screen. Thanks.
