Fix Flv does not work: the progress bar flashes real quick and then proceeds to do nothing

I tried to capture a live stream and the playback is fast... when I try to "fix FLV," the progress bar flashes real quick and then proceeds to do nothing.

Help?

the live stream i've captured (FLV) plays perfectly fine on my system. try to update your windows with the latest KB-patches, see support.microsoft.com
