Default Replay AV Scheduler DST Problem/Feature

Apparently the Replay AV Schedule keeps the schedule in GMT or some other non-DST-aware form. My scheduler entry which was for 11am-1pm Sundays changed last night to 12pm-2pm Sundays when we switched from CST to CDT. This of course was not what I wanted and caused it to miss recording at the proper time. So, check your scheduler entries to be sure they still say what you want. WM Recorder 12 didn't have this problem.

I have this same problem. I've even put a reminder on my Calendar to fix the scheduled record/download times when the daylight saving switch is made in the Spring and Fall. I'm also in the Central Time Zone.

Is it possible that Replay A/V is confused by the enabled "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes" box in the Windows Date and Time Properties:Time Zone tab? Is it adjusting the times on a system where the local clock has already been adjusted? It seems like Replay A/V should just use whatever value the local system clock has without making any adjustments to the program's schedule values.

    HI

Show times are saved in your personal schedule as local time. If your time zone changes, and the show’s time zone does not, then you will have to adjust the show recording times automatically.

Cheryl, I don't understand that. I am in the Central time zone and I record a Pacific time zone radio show every morning at 5:00 AM CST. After this weekend's switch to DST my recording time was changed to 6:00 AM CDT. That would miss the program by one hour.

I should add that the even the schedules for my local radio station and my podcast downloads were also advanced by an hour.

right, that's the same thing I saw--my 11:00am scheduler entry said 12:00pm when I looked at it after the time zone change.

Has there been any update on this? I just got the same problem when the time switched back a week ago.

My time zone did not change, the computer changed the time for DST and Replay AV adjusted the time of the recordings by an hour.

Got hit again when the time changed.

    Any update?

I am recording from an XM unit and the scheduled time seems like it changes to work around DST. Example: If a show is on at 10AM and we leap forward, the schedule time changes to 11AM but it should stay at 10AM.
