    Default XM tuner option dead?

I thought I'd see a bunch of posts on here this morning, but maybe the issue is just me. I've been very fortunate in using the XM tuner option to record, but this morning my Replay AV just said CONNECTING and then simply stopped. I rebooted and restarted XM tuner to no avail. Anyone else having this problem or have a solution?

    Thanks very much

Hmm...maybe no one else is experiencing this. I guess that's good news.

I'm using it right now with no issues.

Yeah, still working here, too, and today even got my recordings without the three-minute-timeout I've been battling routinely.

Suggest you restart XM Tuner (either close and reopen the app, or hit the "Restart" button in the Service Controll app, depending on what you use) and try it again. If that doesn't help, try restarting the computer.

Well, here is the (odd?) solution. I went back and found the original instructions in one of the threads about how to connect XM tuner to the Replay AV. I recreated the steps and found that the URL generated by XM Tuner had changed by one number. I changed that number and it's working fine again.

    Thanks for your comments

Really? May I ask which channel you were trying to record?

    Hi Charlie....

I was recording sirius channel 100. The one digit difference in the URL was not part of the channel, though - it seemed to be part of the IP address.

Ah...bet you're using internal IP addresses for your server, and DHCP to provide them.

Try something with a duplicated Replay A/V "show" and a test recording. Replace the IP address with "localhost" - that is, instead of something like:

    Code:
    http://192.168.1.100:19081/streams/100/high
    ...change it to:

    Code:
    http://localhost:19081/streams/100/high
That should work just as well (assuming, of course, XM Tuner and Replay A/V are both on the same computer), and will eliminate an error when your internal IP address changes.

Charlie...your solution works beautifully!! Thanks so much
