    Same problem here, it downloads the flv file, but it won't convert it to any other video format without the errors.

    Double click to see what exactly is causing the problem.

    I tried to download the following video

    Didn't have any problem.

    Then tried one more time, but now with auto conversion. I did have a problem converting. I got the following error:
    Code:
    C:\Users\Admin\Documents\My Streaming Media\YouTube - ?Beyonce - Run The World (Girls)??.flv: no such file or directory
    I tried to remove spaces from the file name, but that didn't help. Then I renamed the video to 1.flv and was able to convert (remux) using MKV Lossless Extraction.

    p.s. If you see the page source, you may notice strange characters:
    HTML Code:
     <title>
        YouTube
            - &#x202a;Beyoncé - Run The World (Girls)&#x202c;&rlm;
      </title>
    They need to be removed in order for the file to be converted.

    The only thing that doesnt look right when I double click on error message is
    'MusicDNS lookup is not supported for file type : flv
    would that be the problem and if so how do I fix it?
    Can anyone help?

    MusicDNS is used for renaming and tagging MP3 files, so it is not needed for FLV videos (unless you extract MP3 or AAC tracks from them, or convert downloaded FLV files to MP3, M4A).

    It is clear that YouTube has changed its policy, since everyone is gettting the same message. Is Applian working to address the problem?

    The problem with names is fixed in RMC 4.2.3. Testing it now.

    Some youtube videos use AAC audio tracks, so you need to extract AAC to M4A or M4B instead. The log shows what audio is used.

    Post the URL of the web-page and I will take a look.
