Default Replay Media Catcher not seeing videos even from Youtube

When I first launched the program to test it, it noticed the streaming video I was watching. Now, it does not see any streaming video in any browser I use. (IE8, Chrome etc)

    I am on Windows 7 64bit.

    Anyone experience this too?

    Any video.

It doesn't see any on any site. Not You Tube, none. So You Tube is the site. I tried various videos, clearing the cache, I uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing.

Hmmm... It works fine for me. I download lots of videos from youtube. Don't have any problems with FLV, MP4 as well as with WebM videos.

Turn on the Debug mode, hit the Record button, try to record, then e-mail your logs to support.

    Default Media Catcher Help

I dont get this program. I don't understand it and it is upsetting me.

It catches ads, but rarely any videos. Soon as the ad stops, so does MC. I ran it in debug mode and that has not helped.

What the heck can I do to get this thing to work . . .I mean at ALL.

FAQ: Replay Media Catcher 4 is not capturing anything at all. Including YouTube and I see no activity in the status area. What's wrong?

I have the very same problem on one of my computers. None of the suggested fixes has resolved the problem. Even so, the program works fine on my other computer. When last I queried "technical support" I was told to upgrade from XP to Windows 7. Rather than spend money on a new operating system I'm going to attempt a repair installation of my system . Since I have yet to perform this task, I can't tell you if this option solves the issue. Right now I'm unable to run the upgrade to Replay Media Catcher 4.2..., not on this computer. However, I was able to upgrade on my other computer. Again, these issues appear to pertain to
XP and idiosyncracies relating to hardware...then again, there may be unseen problems involving the registry. Who knows? Microsoft platforms are almost always full of bugs, causing endless headaches for all of us. I look forward to hearing how you solve this problem and will check back to see if you found a fix.
    best of luck,
    N.G.
