Default Getting the error "Could not load driver appliand" on Windows 7

I am attempting to use Replay Media Catcher 4 but still getting the "Unexpected Error Could not load driver appliand". This is a fresh clean install of Windows 7 (2 days ago). I got this error the first time I installed RMC4. I have since uninstalled RMC4, rebooted, installed product, then rebooted the system. I did this twice.

Why does this product not work on Windows 8 or Windows 7? Why do you not warn customers? My license was used for about 2 months. It seemed to work only on Vista and Vista upgraded to Windows 7.

I followed these instructions. Please don't tell me your product can't survive registry cleaning!

This error usually occurs if Replay Media Catcher was uninstalled incorrectly before re-installing. Or if you've used a registry cleaner or third-party uninstaller that may have damaged a file.

    1. Uninstall Replay Media Catcher using the Windows Control Panel.

    2. Re-boot your computer.

    3. Download and install the most recent version of Replay Media Catcher from the Downloads page.

    4. Re-boot your computer again.

I was sent the SAME instructions again - the same instructions everyone in this company sends or posts.

    Shellie,

I did the steps one more time.

When I uninstalled the product I checked the box to "remove settings and history".

I removed any folders associated with Applian and Replay.

    I rebooted the system.

I installed the product using the download link in the email below.

    I rebooted the system.

    I got the same error!

I am going to report this problem to FTC. You can't sell software that does not function. Your company sends or posts the same lame instructions for this problem. That points to a company without the knowledge to maintain the software they sell. I think that is illegal.
I'm very sorry to hear you're having this issue, but I assure you our software works fine. The reason we send this same response is because it fixes the issue YOU'RE experiencing for 99.99% of the users having the issue.

Please use the technical support section of the website to submit your tech support ticket and include your record log file:

    http://applian.com/support.php

Here's how you get the log file - make sure you follow ALL of these steps and attach the log file to your TICKET (do not include it in this forum):

    1. Open Replay Media Catcher
    2. Don't start monitoring
    3. Help > About and expand Support and check Debug Mode and then OK
    4. Start monitoring.
    5. Go to the site you're having issues with and start watching in your browser. Wait until Replay Media Catcher should have picked it up and started downloading. This should be within the first few seconds of the video playing.
    6. Stop monitoring
    7. Help > About and expand Support and click the "email logs to support"
link. Please attach the file it makes to this ticket.

Once you send the logs I can look at them and see what is going on.

Thank you VERY much for your patience, I understand this must be frustrating so I truly do appreciate that.

Try running a simple "repair". Can you also post what version you currently have on just to verify?
