    Default FLV to MPEG-4 problems

I'm looking to convert FLV files (recorded using RMC) to MPEG-4. The conversion itself goes fine but the resulting MPEG-4 has perfect audio but significantly poorer picture quality. Any suggestions anyone?

Change the bitrate of the conversion. Select the format you are converting to. Select the edit icon. Now, change the bitrate to a higher bitrate for the video.

Try to use "MPEG-4 lossless extraction" profile when converting. Then you won't lose any quality at all.
