Default 1st flv video download small... BUT the redo or reprcessed download is larger "correct quality " size

(Setting = same quality flv file)

When I download a video (a flash video).
In the first case, I will get "Complete" within a few seconds.
This is a small file maybe 10 K in size . If i open this file in a media player , it will open, BUT it will not play any video.

In another scenario, SOMETIMES after the download is listed as complete(above) the program will then automaticaly start downloading a "copy" of the file that it just listed as completed. This file will play as alow quality flv file.

I have found that if I right click on either the small incomplete file, or the "more complete small size" downloaded copy, ... and proceed to download this same file again, I will get a higher quality flv file.

It seems like I have to do double work. And then delete all the lower quality flv files.

Is there a reason this is happening?

Is there any way I can avoid having to wait around the computer to "redo" all the downloads to get a better quality flv file?

    Thanks
    k

Hey there. If you don't mind, Can you please provide me with the URL of the audio or video you're trying to record, so I can trouble shoot the issue?

    Thanks!
