Cool Replay Media Catcher 4 - 64 bit: Problem launching RMC from the desktop and program shortcut

    OS= Windows Vista 64 Bit

After the Full install When i click the Desktop or Program Icon for it, it starts looking for an install directory and errors.

It did how ever get the program work from the Applian Director Menu.

So i made a shortcut to my Desktop and Program Icon.

    C:\Program Files\Applian Technologies\Replay Media Catcher 4\armcp.exe

Could be just a install glitch for 64 Bit system, IDK.

Just letting you know is all in case others have trouble with Replay Media Catcher.

    Peace

    Hi MCJR

Thanks for your inquiry and i'm glad you were able to get a work-around for this issue. Would you do me a favor - UN-install RMC< reboot your pc - and re-install it.

Let me know if this resolves your issue.

    Thanks!

I get a error using the uninstall icon from the programs menu.
    Something about C:\Users\mc\AppData\Local\Temp\RMC4Install\RMCX64. Setup.msi
It's missing or gone and aborts or asking me where it is.

Could be it not updating the icons or shortcuts after installing it. Got me.

    Hope that helps

Same result uninstalling with the control panel, useless as i figured as much.

Like i said, i had to make my own short cuts.

So to End this Post, People that install the 64-Bit Version of Replay Media Catcher 4, make your own short cuts to run it is all until the installation software is fixed.

    Peace
