The splitter wont join two AVI files

Hi,

I hav e two avi files, and I can view both of them using the Media Splitter. However, when I try and join them using the Join Manager it tells me that "Different formats or incompatable parameters" means that they can't be joined.

They're both avi files, so why can't I join them?

Are the files the same bitrate and the same dimensions? If not convert them so they are and it should then work for you
