Choppy .FLV videos?

Hi all, I was able to capture some videos off of the internet with replay media catcher. They are in .flv format. When I replay them, they are terrible. There is consistent choppiness and the timer at the bottom runs 2x as fast as it should. What causes this? Is there a solution?
