No sound on avi file in Pinnacle

I recorded a conversation on Skype, and brought the file into Pinnacle Ultimate 14 for editing. The video file was fine, but there was no audio file. I then opened the file in Windows Media Player, and both audio and video worked fine.

Pinnacle's FAQs mention that Pinnacle will play "2 DV AVI files" but will not play "1 DV AVI files."

Does anyone have any suggestions about what is going on here? If I am reading the documentation right, Replay AV records in avi, but I cannot figure out what flavor of avi, 2 DV or 1 DV.

Are you using AV or Replay Telecorder to record the Skype call.
