Default Freecorder 4 blocked by recent Windows update in XP

I opened my Freecorder toolbar today, pushed the record button and got a message that Data Execution Prevention was blocking IE. I traced it back to freecorder and a recent windows xp update (KB955759) which blocks the Indeo codec, as it can be used to hyjack a machine. I tried to make IE an exception to the blockage, but that didn't work. I also tried making DEP for essential programs only, but that didn't work either. The only thing that works is to uninstall the update. I'm wondering if there is any way to delete the Indeo codec from the freecorder program, or if you have any plans to fix this, as I don't like going without that update.

I only just recently installed that Windows Update and ran into the problems that many also have. I plan to uninstall this Update at my next ShutDown/ReBoot.

    I recommend to use Firefox
Testing Replay Media Catcher 3.11, Replay AV and Replay Music not only on Windows 7/Vista/XP, but also on Ubuntu Linux and Mac OS X using freeware Wine...

Default I UNinstalled Windows Security Update KB955759

Ok, I just UN-installed Windows Security Update (KB955759). During the process, a box popped-up noting that about a dozen other programs may not work properly (most being other Security Updates). Anyone see that? Anyway, I did the UN-install.

I'll see how it goes with FreeCorder4 and anything else on my computer.

Ok, only used FC4 a few times since uninstalling WU KB955759. Things are back to 'normal' as far as I can tell.

I have a huge list of Windy Updates to install. (I must remember to UNcheck KB955759.) Updates for XP SP2 will be no longer! UG. My next computer, someday way down the road, will have W7.
