    Default Ultimate Recording Settings

What are the ultimate (close as you can get) setting to record video from sites like Hulu? There are different Video Bitrates, as well as Frames. What has been other users experience with these, using Mpeg-2, and having the minimum MB's while recording, and still getting a quality picture?

    Default Re: Ultimate Recording Settings

I usually use high bit-rate like 6000-8000 kbps and then convert videos using x264 or xvid video codec.

Movies are shot with 24fps, so using 24-25 fps is good enough for videos (NTFS movies use 30 fps, but they are created from a 24fps film, so there is no sense using 30 fps).
When you record video conferences that use slide-show, it usually make sense to use a smaller frame rate.
Testing Replay Media Catcher 3.11, Replay AV and Replay Music not only on Windows 7/Vista/XP, but also on Ubuntu Linux and Mac OS X using freeware Wine...
