Default Catcher Accessing Internet: Reporting something back to applian and the end of each capture?

I just purchased the suite which included Media Catcher.
This was the first one I installed and tried to run. It captured a video just fine which is AWSOME.....BUT, my anitivrus tells me that after each capture the program is trying to acess the internet. When my antivirus blocks this access Media Catcher crashes.
It seems to me to be obvious that the program is reporting something back to applian and the end of each capture. Does anyone know what this might be? I REALLY HESITATE to allow this type of activity.
    Thanks,
    Mel

Media Catcher has to connect to grab the media stream that is being sent. If you have the auto tag option checked it will also connect out to look for tagging information.
