    Default Non-playable DVD discs

When I record a streaming movie from the screen, I copy it to a DVD. The DVD plays on my computer, but it won't play on any other DVD player.
Does anyone have any suggestions to make playable DVD's? Thank you...

Maybe it's because of how you burned the movie to the DVD? try burning it at a lower speed.

It could also be of a faulty DVD.

Try using DVD -R discs. Older players may not recognize DVD +R or DVD +/-R discs.

You can burn FLV, MP4, MKV, TS and other movies onto DVD. Many player don't support such formats.

You can create a DVD-Video disc that can be played with most DVD players. Although as already mentioned above, some old players do not support DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW.

p.s. I recommend to buy a network media player instead of buying a new DVD player.
