FreeCorder4 won't load on Firefox3.5.6

I have searched and tried anything related to freecorder not showing up on the browser.
I ran the install as admin.
I have my recording device set to stereo mix.
Right clicking the toolbar does not show FC as an option.
I went to the add-on's and clicked updates, still no FC added to the browser.
These were the suggestions I found to try but they were no help.
I don't get any error messages at any time.

I'm running vista. My soundcard is realtek.
I hope some of you can offer more suggestions.
I appreciate any help you can give.

have you tried updating your Firefox to 3.6?
