Default Split Windows Media Center files?

I have a new Windows 7 Home Premium system and a USB TV tuner that I am using to record live TV off the cable in Windows Media Center.

    1. Can Replay Media Splitter split the recorded files so that I can burn them to DVD-RW?
    2. Where does WMC write the recorded video? I can't find the file after the recording is complete.

    Answering my own questions:

    1. No. The file extension is .wtv
    2. On my system: C:\Users\Public\Recorded TV
