Default Audio out of sync when recoding file played on VLC

I am trying to capture the VLC Media player playing back a file back. But the "audio lags behind the video" in the captured mpeg file from Replay Video Capture ( 4.1 - Windows XP).
I start the VLC player, click on "Get Window" button on Replay Catcher and drag it over the VLC media player screen and dropit, at that time VLC media player pauses, click on the VLC player again to get it going.

Any help on this audio synch would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Use the Universal audio and then use the delay to the right of it in the settings. Read the hints to know what to start with.

Thanks, I tried it and it does not work. The audio is already lagging behind the video, the enablement of the universal audio only allows us to slow down the sound some more.
How do you handle the situation where the audio is already delayed ?
