Replay Media Catcher crashes when recording

I just moved my media catcher license to windows 7.

Unfortunately media catcher now crashes allways.
Maybe anyone can help !?

The facts:
Plattform windows7 64bit.
I already reinstalled media catcher - no change!
It starts to capture - but after seconds it crashes.

I have read posts regarding this one but I think RMC doesn't have any issues yet with Windows 7..

Hope this will be resolved and looked into as soon as possible.

Still I could not solve it.
It is a pity.
On XP the license ran perfectly.

I also checked the version - I am using the latest release 3.11.

Is there any need in windows7 to run RMC as administrator? or in XP mode?

This is usually the result of another program clashing with Media Catcher. Here is a list of things that we know can cause this problem:

Ad-Muncher
LiveMesh
CounterSpy
SpySweeper
ZoneAlarm
CA Anti-Spyware Utility
Comodo
Vista Transformation Pack
Net Nanny
Threatfire
Trusteer Rappoirt
PCTools

If you have any of these or a similar app running on your computer, try shutting them down while Media Catcher is running. If it is not one of the known apps this can be difficult to pinpoint.

I have similar symptoms, except it will on occasion record several songs and then crash, or sometimes run for hours without a problem.

Also running Win 7 x64, latest ReplayMusic downloaded yesterday.

Not using any of the programs listed above, it's a new-ish, fairly clean Win 7 install.

Usually the problem disappears in Windows 7 if you disable hibernation. See the following thread for more:
