Recorded sounds become muffled

I downloaded Freerecorder 4 and installed it including the Freerecorder Toolbar (Version 2.4.0.4) for Firefox 3.5.6. It can record sounds without a problem but when I playback the file, it sounds noticeably muffled compared to the original (recorded from Youtube). I tried launching the FCAudio application but it does not start. Im using Realtek HD Audio Manager, Windows Vista Home Basic SP2. Before using the new one (Freerecorder 3 I think it was), I never had my recordings become muffled. If you want to hear a sample then I could email you.

So what's the prob?

never mind, I reinstalled Freerecorder 3 and everything's ok now
