Weird problem, i'm using at the moment the 3.45 version recording covers.
Those should be hard to be recognized (for exemple "Don' let me be misunderstood" by Lyambico !!) and all the tracks without exeption have been
correctly tagged.
I guess you must have a firewall problem ; you must allow Genuid something.exe
access the web.
I just upgraded my old 2.41 version finally to 3.45 and I never had a problem with replay finding track info until now. I am using yahoo launchcast radio and maybe 1 out of 10 songs will have the song information. Any suggestions? I also downgraded to the 3.35 version and this did not help.
Are the tracks correctly split, have you configured your firewall, do you see a "wave" on RM indicating that it hears music, do you use the special audio driver?
As i said the system DOES work; it has recognized even unknown artists
singing other people's songs !!
We have found that the Yahoo stream is a little different than other streams our program captures. We have had a lot better results with using other programs. Please give them a try and see how it goes for you.
Since I upgraded last week (mistake) the recorder will name about the first 30 or so songs, then hit a few, then completely poop out! Then it says its naming those latter tracks and I cant even delete them until I close Replay.
I have been using Replay for years with Rhapsody and have never had issues till last week. Windows XP.
This is an issue, stop messing around and blaming settings.
Old Replay = Works great, worth the money
New Replay = Works poorly, but it has green on it! GJ! (insert sarcasm)
Ceg
Please make sure you have the latest version of Replay Music version 3.45. If you have Vista, probably versions earlier than 3.0 will not work. Vista has made a lot of changes to the audio architecture since XP. Vista has made it very difficult for audio capturing software to work, but Replay Music still does a good job.
For best results make sure that you are recording high quality streams. Unfortunately, Yahoo LaunchCast streams are not the best of quality so Replay Music has more of a difficulty to recognize them. Try higher quality streams like Pandora or Rhapsody.

How about you make another upgrade that can handle Yahoo's Launchcast. I really prefer Launchcast than any other service. I never had so much problems tagging Launchcast before. I should have noted which version I had that worked very well with Launchcast. Does anyone know or have a copy of the older Replay Music that worked for Launchcast?
For me, 3.35 works best with Launchcast. I won't upgrade until
the tagging issue is resolved.
