Digital Artifact

I notice video recordings have a digital artifact, or square pixilation. Is that normal?

The quality of the recording is not going to be the same as the original as it is a screen capture and not a stream capture program. You might try and record using a smaller screen or try MPEG 2 if you are using windows media to see if you get a better quality.

I was using Cyberlink PowerDVD 8 Ultra, and Arcsoft Total Media Extreme. I used mpeg2 at 1/4 screen.
