Thumbs down Converting from .CAP to whatever

More and more i end up with .CAP files. I have tried everything to convert these files to .wmv .avi. or whatever. But it doesn't work. It look like it starts converting these files but after 10 minutes the program stops and NO converted file can be found.

The funny thing is that I can play these .CAP files in windows media player without any problem.

A Cap file is a temporary file. It is a file that for some reason didn't stop recording properly-such as when you have a computer glitch or your Internet stops. You should be able to right mouse click the files and name them with the proper extension.

Unfortunately I am having problems...after upgrading to the latest replay av and to the latest Replay converter. I guess I will open another support incident for a third time.

It was working...now I am left with these huge cap files that I must rename to ASF and then convert to MP3.
