Replay AV no longer converting to MP3 (getting very very large CAP files)

Now I am only getting very very large CAP files.

I've removed and reinstalled replay av and replay converter to the latest versions. I will open a support ticket and submit the logs (again)...

However am I able to simply rename the CAP files to MP3? (I normally just rename them to .ASF and they play in WMP...but I want them in MP3.

( I saw the posts on "internet glitch /computer glitch"...working in the IT industry for 15+ years...that explanation is a bit unsettling at best.)

If there is some type of "glitch"...then why not have Replay AV record only to the scheduled time...and not for dozens of hours as it is indicated in some of the very large CAP files??????
