Recording Starts at 15 secs

In the last few weeks RM starts recording only after 12-15 seconds. The vu bar is active from 0 secs. Also, tagging nearly never works.
I dloaded v3.72, it is the same. What is happening?

It is recording prior to the 15 seconds but not showing up until then. The reason being is commercials and ads-in the settings you can change it to more or less seconds if you like. Regarding tagging we need more info from you-what are you recording from as an example. Thanks.

I am aware of the feature not showing the recording before the 15seconds and how to change it.
My question is that RM really starts the recording late; the first 12 to 15 secs of the songs are missing. it has only started a couple of weeks ago
I have a Zune pass and use RM occasionally and with MS Zune.
Windows XP home on a Compaq desktop.

Make sure you are using the latest version of the program. This is not an issue I have had reported so if you continue to have this problem contact us at tech support as we will need further info such as a log file.
