    Default hangs when joining files

i have version 1.6.906.17 running on Windows XP Professional (5.1.2600).

when attempting to join two .mp3 files, Media Splitter software hangs. i have to abort the task using the windows task manager.

    i get the following message:
    A time-out has expired. HRESULT: 0x8004022e ( Unspecified error hr = 0x80004005)

    have un-installed, re-booted, re-installed and re-booted three times.

been using Replay A/V for years and have recommended it to friends. i find i can't recommend Media Splitter. it doesn't do the simplest job.

has anybody joined files with this product?

I have joined files several times without an issue. If you would like some assistance with this please submit a support ticket as we will need to look into it more carefully for you. Thanks.

Upload some files to a file sharing site so that we can try.
