Default VU bar meter goes to full

I just updated my version and since then the bar meter no longer follows the music level,it hangs on full.Songs continue to show as downloaded but their duration is very short and the file contains no music.

My record slider is set at 50% and has been there for months. If this is a level problem I can adjust the levels along thr way.

See other post "Recording Volume vs Recording Quality". It may help you regarding the meter. Sorry but can't help you with your other problems.

What are you recording from? What version of windows are you using? Are you running the program with administrative rights?

Recording from theradio.com,using winxp pro and do have admin rights.Don't know if this is related but I am tagging very few songs,it just says unrecognized.A few get through though.

    Thanks.
