    Default capturing swf files

Is Replay A/V supposed to be able to capture streaming swf files or does that require Replay Media Catcher? Thx.

That is going to depend on the file. In some cases AV will work while in cases I use Replay Media Catcher. Give both a try to see what is going to work for you.

Thanks for the quick reply, Cheryl. I actually did try Capture A/V (v. 8) and all it grabbed was a shockwave flash object. It won't capture the video. I'm upgrading and getting Replay Media Catcher, so I'll see what that will do. To be honest, I'd really like to send the log file from the capture attempt to the tech support staff so they could interpret it for me, but I'm guessing they don't have time to look at it.

We look at everything that is sent to the tech support system. If you are having an issue let us know and do send the log file to that system. Thanks.

Thanks Cheryl. I actually installed Replay Media Catcher, which worked fine capturing the Flash file.
