Default DVR "Failed to run filter graph"

When I attempt to run DVR, as soon after I press the record button, I get the message for the recording "Complete (Errors). At the bottom of the page, it says.. Netfix.wmv, Failed to run filter graph, WMV

    Windows 10
    Direct x12

    Settings (DVR):
Audio codec: Windows Media 10 Pro Format: 192 kbps
Video codec: WMV 9 29.97 fps

    Ax Browser IE 10 default

    Can anyone help me?

I have been getting exactly the same error, with the same settings using Google Chrome as DVR Browser Type.

Has anyone had this error, or found a resolution?

Do try and use Chrome instead. Also, open the program. Select settings and the counterclockwise arrow icon. It will revert you back to default settings. Reboot your computer. Now, give it a try.
