Default RMC 2.10 Won't Start. Error Connecting to Server

I know I know, it's a really old version of the software but it works on a few of the sites I like so why change? Anyway, when I try to run the program it says it's checking "https-ssl" and hangs. It eventually fails with

Unable to connect to the internet.
You must be able to connect to the internet via (HTTPS-SSL) in order to run this program.
Make sure "Mediacatcher.exe" is not blocked by your Firewall.

    Error returned:
Unable to connect to the server.

Is anyone else having this issue. If the server is at Applian and they've taken it offline can you provide a workaround? My firewall is open. My router hasn't changed configuration. Nothing has changed at all on my end. This has happened in the past but usually goes away after a few hours but now it seems permanent.

This is a very old version and with updates to computers I believe that is why you are receiving this issue. I haven't seen any support or issues with this version for years.

Yikes, RMC 2? Haven't heard that one in years either - I suggest upgrading to the latest version. It's VERY different from RMC 2 but easy to learn pretty quickly and does so much more
