RMC stats without playing video

In the most recent version of RMC when I open IE to yahoo.com the page starts recording even though no video is playing
Also it records FLV and mp4 even though no conversion setting has been selected
Any help with this?

It sounds like there is more than one format or quality for this. In the settings under Internet select the quality you want and also select to prompt for the format. Select the format. Once it starts going close the browser down and that should improve it for you. Also, do verify that you do not have a conversion set up on the main screen.
