Default What format to use when capturing video

Since RCM6 cannot play videos saved with RMC5, what format should my videos be converted to so I can view them with generic software?

That is a personal choice as to what you want to use for your player. I use our FLV Player and the VLC Player for most of my files as I like the small footprint they each have. Different programs use different
formats so when you find a program you like see what formats it takes.
