Default How to to add start time information to the file name?

    1. How to add start time information to the file name?

I tried with name_[M]-[D]-[Y]_[H]-[MI] but is not working in demo mode. Same if I'm using {}.

    No option for seconds...

    2. some url's are not working in RR9, but in RAV are fine.

    ex. http://2emct0.akacast.akamaistream.n...eam.net/2EMCT0

There is not that option to add a start time in the file name itself. Thanks. Use the built in URL finder in Replay Radio and see if you can get a good URL for what you want. Ideally you will add from within the Media Guide. The URL you provided is not a complete one. The program needs the complete URL from the stream.

I'm afraid that this is not a feature yet. I tried exploring the options too but nothing so far.

When you set up the name do not have the _ before each one. Use the {} for each with a comma between. Some people are having an issue with this and we are working on an update for it also.

Assuming you're talking about Replay A/V (and not the new thing), just:

    %Y%m%d_%H%M_%%s

...in Settings:Other. If you have a scheduled recording named "my_recorded_show" you'll end up with a file named 20131218_2127_my_recorded_show.ext (with "ext" being whatever format you stream or convert to).

(Of course, if you were talking about the new program, you're posting in the wrong sub-forum.)

Thanks Charlie. I was talking about Replay Radio with this and not AV. I appreciate your input.

first of all, for me is important to add recording start time in the recording name, seconds are a must in the file name.
now name_{M}-{D}-{Y}_{H}-{MI} seems to work, if you can add {S} it will be great, ex. name_{M}-{D}-{Y}_{H}-{MI}-{S} or name_01-14-2014_12-00-00

the second problem, with CBC radios url, seems to be ok now.

one question: how many shows can be scheduled in RR9? RAV is stable even at 250-300 shows per day

It does not have a limit. Each system is different so you would need to experiment. I have never done that many shows in one day-even when testing. Thanks.

Cheryl, Thanks so much for getting them to add splitting to the program. I have upgraded from Replay A/V and am very happy with this new version.

Now, can we get them to add the "variables" to the File Naming? So if I record "MyRadioShow" with splits at 05 and 35, then put in "MyRadioShow-{M}{D}-{H}{M}" the files would be named "MyRadioShow-0714-0905" and "MyRadioShow-0714-0935"?

Putting in the ID 3 Tag is great but I'd love it to also work for the Album tag "MyRadioShow-{M}{D}"

    I know, picky, picky, picky.

All this is similar to the old Replay 8.x and earlier.
