Hi. Great piece of software. I am using the demo version 5 and found that when playing back the videos, they are very low quality and they pixelate a lot and video ghost a lot. Is this common?

Yes that is "normal" with RMC5, i already mentioned it in a previous thread.

For recording from MFC use RMC4 !
I'm now using RMC4 and its not picking up the MFC streams.
Hey -
MFC needs to be recorded - instead of downloading. It should switch to this automatically if MFC's is set as a secure site in the RTMP settings.
When recording RMC takes the a copy of the stream directly from the network as it is streamed to the player in your browser. As these are live cams, if it has low quality in the player the recording will also be low quality. Also if playing back low quality in a player that has been expanded then this will cause pixels to appear larger.

What I have found is that RMC 5 can download 1 video at a time from MFC, adding more videos causes the video you started first, which was downloading fine and the new video to Ghost and artifact.
Glad I could help, love the program. I really like version 5, But I was just wondering if there was a way to fix the timestamps on multiple files at once instead of 1 at a time. Or is it technically not possible?
Hey -
Technically it is definitely possible and a solution is on the way - its a user interface issue - in the next release you will be able to select multiple files for fixing using the Library > Select Files to Fix. Also you will be able in list view to select multiple files and select Fix FLV.
At the moment you just need to select a file at a time and select Fix FLV. They will then queue to be fixed.
Thanks again y2krebel for explaining exactly how you were seeing the bad quality!
