Default Can't Download YouTube Videos Any More

I've been using Media Catcher for years. Currently have version 4.4.5. I'm using it on a PC, Windows 7.

As recently as a couple of weeks ago, it was working when I wanted to download YouTube videos. Over the years, I've come to learn all the tricks when, for some reason, I can't get it to work. Closing it out, rebooting, clearing cache, etc. Was always able to get it to finally start recording. But not this time.

So I followed the suggestions from another thread here and uninstalled the program, re-booted, reinstalled Media Catcher 4 and tried again. Still nothing. I tried half a dozen different videos from different YouTube channels. Didn't work.

By the way, before I uninstalled the program and after I installed it again, I went to my Vimeo channel and successfully pulled one of my videos off of my Vimeo account. So I know Media Catcher works with other video sources. Just not YouTube for some reason.

So, what should I do next?

    Thanks,

    - Andy

    Hi Andy

    1. Open Replay Media Catcher
    2. Don't start monitoring
    3. Help > About and expand Support and check Debug Mode and then OK
    4. Start monitoring.
    5. Go to the site you're having issues with and start watching in your browser. Wait until Replay Media Catcher should have picked it up and started downloading. This should be within the first few seconds of the video playing.
    6. Stop monitoring
    7. Help > About and expand Support and click the "email logs to support"
link. Please attach the file it makes to the ticket. (do NOT attach your log file in this forum)

Andy, I have experienced the same problem and the way I solved it and do even now, is as follows:
Open RMC and have it ready to record.
Navigate to the Youtube video you wish to capture.
As soon as the page with the video has loaded, it should begin to play.
I notice that it isn´t captured by RMC
    Re load the Youtube video
I now always find that RMC does then capture the video this second time around.
