MFC recorded video playback

So, I have the current 4.4.5 media catcher, and version of flash, but im having problems recording MFC streams.

When I record a stream, the time is way off. A 30 second video will say 5 min. The video plays back super fast, stutters, stops.

Im guessing its something MFC did on their end, but I cant find a fix.

Im also using Chrome.

I tested a few streams and did not have that issue, the most recent I tested for 28 seconds - and the playback time was 28 seconds.

However - Myfreecams is RTMP recording. Often, data packets from the server jump from packet to packet - sometimes in 30 second increments even.

This is quite common for live webcasts as the server is receiving data from one users webcam and then transmitting it to multiple others.

You might want to use the Fix FLV feature (Expand the file contents) and adjust the timestamps to be sequential.

Ah, manually fixing the time stamp pretty much does the trick. Still a little stuttery, but at least i can play the video now.
