Settings for audio recording?

I just got RMC and it works fantastic. But i wanted to record a few tracks, but i can't seem to find where to change the setting of the quality!!?? The tracks were recorded in 128 kbps, but the playback quality was 256 and 320 kbps.
Where can i change the recording settings?

Hmm, I'm not sure how it can play back greater than the quality recorded...

Specifically, Can you please provide me with the URL of the audio or video you're trying to record, so I can trouble shoot the issue?

But the recordings i have made are all from Spotify - set to high quality streaming!!?? So surely it must be more than 128 kbps?? I have also Replay Music, which also records from Spotify, and the recordings here seems to be a better quality. But i want to use only RMC for everything, because i have trouble with recording the beginnings of many tracks, and thought that RMC might be a little better.
