Output Video Plays At Fast Speed

I trimmed an .avi video and the output file plays like it is in fast forward. I don't see anybody else mentioning this problem on the forum. Is anybody else having this issue?

A suggestion is to install a codec pack for your computer. Then try and do the split again and see if that helps. I use k-lite as it is free and easy to find on the Internet.
