Problems with BBC iPlayer

I've just downloaded RMC and tried to capture a BBC iPlayer stream. It doesn't work. I get a name with the suffix flv flashing in the RMC list, stuck at 2 bytes. When I stop recording, the entry vanishes. Any suggestions, please?

Here's an answer that requires Replay AV 8 (not Media Catcher--Sorry I found no prior posts about it using RMC!).

for BBC Radio-Audio...use Beebetron.

Originally set up to allow mobile apps to record streaming it's a Godsend to those us trying to avoiid flash. Beebotron provides URL's for the Real Audio link for programs. Constantly updated.

Then I use Replay AV 8 to record the stream (not replay media catcher)
--using the sound card (I don't download).
If it's video & you're outside of the UK...you can't even watch it unless you spoof where you're coming from.
