(1) Livestream, (2) Confused by percentages, (3) Multiple output files?

I am trying to stream some video from Livestream and I am confused by some things:
1. What are those percentages? They can't represent the percent recorded because RMC doesn't know how long I'm going to record for
2. RMC seems to create multiple output files -- why?
3. And some of those output files look like they're duplicates

The duplicates are the same files at a different bitrate. To prevent this once it starts recording close the link as it will continue. The percentages are the time it processes and how far it is. Frankly I don't understand how that
works but it does.

Closing the link didn't work - it just stopped the recording

That probably had to do with the type of stream then. I know I always close YouTube and it keeps on recording. You might need to contact tech support for this-I don't do tech support for Media Catcher. Thanks.
