https:// sites blocked when using Firefox
Has anyone been able to use Replay Media Catcher with Firefox and going to secure https sites?
As soon as I set RMC to AUTO and try to go to a site that uses https, e.g. https://www.google.com/ or https://www.youtube.com/, the site is blocked in the browser (with a security warning).
I have tried it on 3 different PC with the same results. I am using RMC 6 and have tried several Firefox versions going back several years.
Note: In order to use Firefox at https sites, such as youtube, and download videos in AUTO mode, it is necessary to set the Network Connection to "Use system proxy settings".
If not set to use the Proxy, Firefox can connect fine to https sites, but videos can then not be downloaded using AUTO.
p.s. Internet Explorer and Chrome works fine with https sites.
Re: https:// sites blocked when using Firefox
I am surprised, isn't anyone using Firefox?

Do try version 7. I am not getting reports of issues with Firefox with it.

Yes, I have tried version 7 as well but only on 1 PC. I get the same error "This Connection is Untrusted". With version 6, I have tried it on 3 PCs.
Can you please try it yourself, starting with latest version of RMC 6 and any Firefox version (I also use WIN7 - 64 bit).
It shouldn't take more than 1 min to turn on RMC with AUTO and Firefox and then go to Google.com
Thank you in advance!
p.s. I am subscribed to this thread with instant E-mail notification. However, I am not being notified (and it is not in my SPAM).....???
Re: https:// sites blocked when using Firefox
I personally do not use Firefox as I find it causes a lot of issues on my computer. I prefer to use Chrome and Internet Explo9rer. http://support-rcat.applian.com/supp...e-like-youtube
This link might also help you.
Re: https:// sites blocked when using Firefox
I had the same issue with Firefox and RMC 6.
I installed RMC 7 and that resolved the issue.

You have also sent me the link above twice in the ticket and we went through the steps; nothing helped.
Don't you have any PC with Firefox at Applian? If not, can you please install it so that you can test Firefox issues that are reported by your customers?
TIA!
p.s. I think it would be inappropriate to ask a customer to pay for an upgrade to v.7 to take care of a bug that should have been fixed in v6.
(Although I was not able to get it to work in v.7 trial anyway)

Please submit a support ticket for this issue. Include details of what is happening. This is getting into details that the forum doesn't need.

As I wrote in my post above, I have already submitted a ticket. It was submitted more than 3 months ago (#55658). The last response from Applian was more than 1 month ago (5/16/17). I have sent 4 follow up message but I am not getting any response to the ticket.
