Capturing Large files almost impossible

For some reason it has almost become impossible to capture more than 30-40 minutes of video. In most cases capturing stops at around 600-700 MB.

There isn't any logic in this because after spending 3 days and retry for more than 30 times "delete and rerecord" I sometimes manage to get the complete episode/video.

Does somebody have a suggestion how I can solve this problem !!!!!!!!!
