Freecorder Does Not Work On Windows 7?

Hello Everyone It just will not work on windows7 it goes thru the motions and I try to save it to the file, but it is not there when I look for it. So I went back to my old xp pc and tried the newest freecorder and it saved it but it was distorted and extremely low. What could be wrong, is freecorder seven not compatible with windows 7?

When ya go to the website ya provided all it does is takes ya to a site to download freedorder 7 no assistance ????
