Ooops! Never mind - I re-downloaded and found that I was using version 4.2.8 but the latest is 4.3.2

Since installing the newer version I no longer have a problem. Seems the problem was the "Check for Updates" function under the "Help" tab must not have been working because when I clicked it I was told that I was using the latest version - turned out that was in error and I was stupid enough to rely on it. Thanks for the fix.
