bbc iplayer recording stops part way through

sticks at 1:05 of a 1:39:47 title, status stuck at downloading 214, then after a wait hangs on "sending pong".

i have downloaded a longer title from iplayer yesterday no problem. any idea why this one hangs?

clearing cache isn't working for me!

I have the exact same problem bbc iplayer, goes until about 1.02mins then hangs then sending pong - argghhhhhh, help!

Please try in Replay Media Catcher settings, rtmp tweaks and select to "alway record rtmp streams instead of downloading".

I have the same problem and made the suggestion to record rtmp streams instead of downloading.

however we get the error

"The following stream has been detected as a secure stream:"

seems to continue and you just have to leave the broswer up and playing ..

is that correct ?

it seems to do this mainly for LONG programmes .. shorter ones seem to be ok
