problem recording

A few days ago i was able to record using freecorder on windows 7 with no problem. But now i can't record at all. When i click the recorder button it comes up but then say waiting for audio adn never records.what do i need to do?and i have all the same settings as before when i used it.

I have the same problem, I only record with the Windows options selected, not with the applian settings selected and the sound quality is very bad. The only program that can be recorded with the applian setting selected is ITunes. Please help me
